NATACHA DUPUIS

Natacha Dupuis is a retired Master Corporal of the Canadian Armed Forces, having dedicated over 16 years of service to her country. Her career includes participation in critical missions such as the ice storm crisis, a tour in Bosnia, and two deployments to Afghanistan. It was during her second tour in Afghanistan that Natacha faced profound personal challenges, including the tragic loss of two comrades, which ultimately led to her diagnosis of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Throughout her journey toward recovery, Natacha embraced various healing techniques, ultimately discovering the transformative power of physical exercise. She credits the Soldier On Program with playing a pivotal role in her reintegration into sports and fitness, where the support and camaraderie of her fellow participants have been crucial in her healing process.

Natacha’s athletic achievements are a testament to her resilience. At the Invictus Games Orlando 2016, she earned two gold medals in track and field (100m and 200m) and a bronze in powerlifting. Continuing her success, she returned to the Invictus Games in Toronto 2017, where she served as Co-Captain, winning three gold medals (100m, 200m, and 400m) and a silver in indoor rowing.

Originally from the south side of Montreal, Natacha now resides in the National Capital Region, where she has embarked on a fulfilling new career as a public servant. Through her experiences, Natacha exemplifies resilience, determination, and strength, inspiring others to overcome their own challenges and pursue their dreams.
