Gord Gilmour

Working with Tema & the Team is rewarding knowing that we can make a difference in the lives of those who we interact with. We have to be there for each other, to support, to care for, to listen, to guide to share the hurt. This is my goal.”

Gord began his career in EMS with Toronto EMS as a Call Taker, working his way through the ranks to his end position of Deputy Commander of Operations 35 years later.

Gord was part of Tema from the inception and has completely supported it’s mandate without hesitation to date, in volunteering first and later moving into Education role as well. Gord has completed several courses in Mental Health and offers a wealth of support and compassion. His life and work experiences give him much to draw on when teaching with the Team for Tema.
