Dr. Lisa Couperthwaite is a Clinical Psychologist registered in the province of Ontario with expertise in clinical care, disability management, and systems improvement in relation to occupational mental health impairment and return to work (RTW). She has special interests in prevention, mitigating the potential negative effects of occupational trauma (e.g., PTSD), and optimizing posttraumatic growth through adversity. She currently provides psychological assessment, treatment, skills training for prevention and performance enhancement, and RTW rehabilitation services to adults through her private practice. She previously worked at the CAMH for many years and held a leadership role at one of the largest compensation boards in North America. She also assisted with developing various Standards, including the National Standard for Psychological Health & Safety in the Paramedic Service Organization.
