THANK YOU FOR CELEBRATING WITH TEMA!
The Tema Gala Dinner, held at the Westin Nova Scotian Hotel in Halifax on May 7th, 2024, was a grand event with 400 attendees enjoying a four-course dinner, comedic performances by Bette & Maynard, and an inspiring interview with Tyler Smith, a survivor of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, winner of the Amazing Race Canada season 9, and a notable mental health advocate.
The evening was complemented by a successful online auction that had been running for 30 days prior to the gala, with over 55 items, and a live auction during the gala, featuring amazing items and excursions by generous donours.
The event was supported by our hardworking 20 volunteers, including military personnel and paramedic students, who helped with the setup and managed the raffle ticket sales during the gala.
