Bell Let’s Talk supporting the Tema Foundation

Media Advisory – Bell Let’s Talk Chair to present donation to Tema Foundation at
Halifax event


Halifax, NS January 16, 2025 – Members of the media are invited to join Mary Deacon, Chair
of Bell Let’s Talk, at Fire Station 3 in Halifax where she will present a donation of $20,000 to the
Tema Foundation on behalf of Bell Let’s Talk.


The Tema Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established with a heartfelt mission
to support the mental health and resilience of first responders and frontline workers and their
families, recognizing the unique challenges faced by those who dedicate their lives to serving
others.


During the event, Kevin Davison, a paramedic and firefighter, will perform his original
song “When Those Sirens Are Gone,” a tribute to First Responders, live.


Since the launch of Bell Let’s Talk in 2010, Canadians have made great progress in moving the
national conversation on mental health forward, reducing stigma, and changing attitudes and
behaviours toward mental wellness and mental illness.

When: Friday, January 17, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (AST)
Where: Fire Station 3 – 5663 West Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Who: Mary Deacon, Kevin Davison, and various Nova Scotia community and first
responder partners will be in attendance.
